Vikas Arya’s journey with Art has been a complicated, but fulfilling one. Since childhood, he felt a strong calling towards colours and mixing them to create a new hue. However, the priority was always given to academics which did not let him pursue this passion at an early age. Years spent studying and working with various ventures in Delhi. In 2014, he moved to Dubai for work which led him re-discover his relationship with art. He would work long hours as an interior designer and spend nights honing his skills and painting his creations. The long gap between his childhood love for art and his grown up obsession for it, molded him into the artist he is today. In 2015, he participated in his first exhibition in Dubai which became the turning point in his life and he has never looked back. Every phenomenal artist needs a muse and Vikas has chosen Mother Nature as his one and only muse. The 3D Impasto technique in Acrylic prevalent in his canvases helps him fulfill his vision to bring out the beauty of nature in its most creative form. The stunning work of art that brings alive forests, mountains, rivers, even ‘simple’ trees get an in-depth touch in his Landscapes. Each canvas pays homage to a unique aspect of nature, every leaf is different from another. His canvases don’t just paint a picture, they tell a story. A story that transports you and let you be surrounded by the lush greenery. Vikas Arya is today an Internationally renowned Landscape Artist. He has been awarded "Agnipath Kala Shri Award 2018". He has also won Gold medals in Artizen Art Gallery, Delhi and Punjabi Bhavan, Ludhiana in 2015 & 2016. He recieved "The Best Painting Award" from AIFACS Gallery, Delhi in 2016. “At this stage in life, the bare minimum I try to do with my skills is to bring out the Nature's beauty to the world.”
